Masajid Network values your privacy and is committed to protecting user information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use Masajid Network and MSTR (Masajid Salah Timetable Repository).

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to operate the platform.

a) Mobile Number (Login Only)

  • Used only for login and authentication
  • Helps verify user identity and secure access to the app
  • Not used for advertising, marketing, or promotions

No other personal details are required for general users.

b) Masjid Information (MSTR Users Only)

For authorized masjid representatives (committee members, Imam, Muazzin), we may collect:

  • Masjid name
  • Masjid location
  • Jamaat and Salah timings
  • Ramadan schedules

This information is provided voluntarily by masjid authorities, used only to serve the jamaat and community, and displayed publicly for correct jamaat information.

c) Technical Information (Limited)

  • App performance logs
  • Crash reports

This data is used only to improve app stability and does not personally identify users.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • ❌ Names (for general users)
  • ❌ Email addresses
  • ❌ Aadhaar, PAN, or government ID numbers
  • ❌ Contacts, messages, or call logs
  • ❌ Financial or payment information
  • ❌ Background location tracking
  • ❌ Photos, videos, or media files

3. How We Use Information

  • Secure login using mobile number
  • Showing nearby masajid
  • Displaying correct jamaat timings
  • Sending masjid-related alerts (MSTR)

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or analytics for profit.

4. Notifications & Alerts

  • Notifications are sent only for masjid-related updates
  • Includes jamaat timing changes and important announcements
  • No marketing or promotional notifications are sent

5. Data Sharing

Masajid Network follows a strict no-sharing policy:

  • No selling of user data
  • No sharing with advertisers
  • No sharing with third parties for profit

User data is never shared, except if required by a valid legal order under Indian law.

6. Data Storage & Security

We follow reasonable security practices to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or accidental loss.

Like all online services, absolute security cannot be guaranteed, but data protection is taken seriously.

7. Children’s Privacy

Masajid Network is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Non-Monetization Statement

Masajid Network is a completely non-profit platform.

There is no financial transaction involved in using Masajid Network or MSTR.
